Welcome to Moody Mares. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Moody Mares creates collectible handmade hobby horses and related products. As each item is individually handcrafted, slight variations in color, markings, materials, shape, and details may occur. These variations are part of the handmade nature of the product and are not considered defects.
Orders
Orders may be placed through:

Custom orders are created according to the customer's specifications and preferences. Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all design details before production begins.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in the applicable currency unless otherwise stated.
A deposit may be required before work begins on custom orders. Deposits are deducted from the final purchase price and are non-refundable once materials have been purchased or work has commenced.
The remaining balance must be paid before shipping or collection unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If the remaining balance is not paid within 5 business days after the customer has been notified that the order is complete, Moody Mares reserves the right to cancel the order, retain the deposit, and offer the item for sale to another customer.
Custom Orders
Custom hobby horses are individually handcrafted and made specifically for the customer.
Due to their personalized nature, custom orders cannot be returned, refunded, exchanged, cancelled, or rejected once production has begun.
Design changes requested after production has started may result in additional costs, delays, or may not be possible.
The customer is responsible for carefully reviewing reference photos, color choices, markings, mane style, stick length, and all other design details before production begins.
Age Recommendation and Intended Use
Moody Mares are handcrafted collectible hobby horses featuring a wooden stick and small decorative components.
They are recommended for children aged 14 years and older, and adult collectors.

Display purposes
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are used appropriately and with reasonable care.
Shipping and Delivery
Orders are shipped using the selected shipping provider.
Estimated shipping times:

Denmark: 2–4 business days

European Union: 5–10 business days
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on destination, customs procedures, weather conditions, carrier delays, holidays, or circumstances beyond Moody Mares' control.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
Once a parcel has been accepted by the shipping provider, responsibility for transportation passes to the carrier. Moody Mares cannot oversee or control events occurring during transit.
Damage During Shipping
Moody Mares takes great care to package all items securely.
If an item arrives damaged, the customer must contact Moody Mares as soon as possible and provide:

A detailed description of the damage

Clear photographs of the damaged item

Clear photographs of the shipping box and packaging
Depending on the nature of the damage, Moody Mares may offer:

Repair

Partial refund
-
Replacement (where possible)
Replacement is only possible after the original item has been returned and inspected.
One-of-a-kind (OOAK) creations cannot be replaced. If an OOAK item is confirmed to be irreparably damaged during shipping, an appropriate refund may be offered.
Returns and Refunds
Non-Custom Products
Non-custom products may be eligible for return within 14 days of receipt, provided they remain unused and in original resalable condition.
Return Requirements
Returns may only be accepted upon prior agreement and provided all of the following conditions are met:

No more than 14 days have passed since delivery.

The item remains in flawless, resalable condition.

The item is free from pet hair, smoke, perfume, incense, air fresheners, strong odors, dirt, stains, and other contamination.

The item is securely packed according to provided instructions.

The customer pays return shipping costs.
-
The return shipment includes Track & Trace.
-
The tracking number is provided to Moody Mares.
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, a refund may be issued less original shipping costs, transaction fees, and other non-recoverable expenses.
If the returned item does not meet these requirements, Moody Mares reserves the right to:

Offer a partial refund, or
-
Return the item to the customer at the customer's expense.
Custom Products
Custom-made products are non-refundable and non-returnable.
Product Care and Customer Responsibility
Moody Mares hobby horses are handmade collectible items and should be handled with care.
Customers should:

Brush the mane gently.
-
Store the item in a dry, clean indoor environment.
-
Avoid excessive force on ears, mane, eyes, stick, and decorative details.
-
Avoid exposure to water, humidity, direct sunlight, heat sources, and open flames.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, customer modifications, improper storage, misuse, rough handling, or damage occurring after delivery are not considered manufacturing defects.
Examples of improper handling include:

Failure to follow care instructions.

Rough play or excessive force.
-
Pulling, twisting, bending, or stretching components.
-
Throwing, dropping, stepping on, or sitting on the item.
-
Allowing young children or pets to handle the item unsupervised.

Exposure to water or excessive moisture.
-
Leaving the item outdoors.
-
Exposure to heat, sunlight, open flames, or high temperatures.
-
Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
Moody Mares is not responsible for damage resulting from any of the above.
Damage that occurs after delivery due to handling, storage, transportation, modifications, accidents, misuse, pets, children, or third parties does not constitute a manufacturing defect and does not qualify for refund, replacement, or compensation.
Repairs
Accidents can happen.
Customers are welcome to contact Moody Mares regarding repair possibilities.
For minor repairs, guidance may be provided so the customer can complete the repair themselves.
For more complex repairs, the item may be returned to Moody Mares for assessment and repair.
Repair costs may include:

Time spent on repairs

Replacement materials
-
Return shipping costs
The customer is responsible for all shipping expenses associated with repair work.
Intellectual Property
All designs, molds, photographs, text, logos, branding, artwork, and website content remain the property of Moody Mares unless otherwise stated.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, sold, or used without prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
Moody Mares shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, emotional, reputational, or financial damages arising from:

Use of products

Improper handling of products

Customer modifications
-
Shipping delays
-
Third-party carrier actions

Website use
-
Customer dissatisfaction arising from personal preference changes after purchase
Product descriptions, photographs, and examples are provided in good faith. Due to the handmade nature of the products, minor variations are expected and do not constitute defects.
